Pidge flies the Green Lion, which forms Voltron’s left arm. The smallest pilot takes a limb, not a support role, which the show is consistent about. In Legendary Defender, the Green Lion is sealed inside a temple on a forest planet, and Pidge is the one it accepts, in the 2016 premiere.
